Attitude, July 2016 issue

Prince William will be on the cover of Attitude, the top British LGBT Lifestyle Magazine for the July issue. The Duke of Cambridge is making history as it is the first time that a member of the Royal Family will appear on the front-page of a gay publication.

The prince revealed the interview to Attitude while at the U.S Embassy in London on Tuesday as he and his wife, Kate Middleton, signed a book of condolences for the victims of the Orlando attacks where 49 people were killed in an attack on a gay nightclub.

"No one should be bullied for their sexuality or any other reason and no one should have to put up with the kind of hate that these young people have endured in their lives," the Prince said. "The young gay, lesbian and transgender individuals I met through Attitude are truly brave to speak out and to give hope to people who are going through terrible bullying right now."

William encouraged anyone who is the victim of harrassment or violence because of their sexual orientation to speak out. "You should be proud of the person you are and you have nothing to be ashamed of," he said.

The much awaited issue will hit newsstands June 22.
